Borgotufi is located amid rolling hills and mountains with pristine nature, a short distance from two of the most spectacular wildlife national parks of Italy, Abruzzi National Park and Majella National Park. The surrounding environment is perfect for outdoor active vacations all year round. Springtime and summertime are both well suited for hiking, nordic walking and mountain biking as well as horse riding and rafting/canoeing in the nearby Sangro river. During the wintertime our guests can choose among cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Capracotta mountain resort, 15 minutes away, or downhill skiing at one of the top-ten largest ski resort of Italy, Roccaraso in Abruzzo, that is located only 20 minutes drive from our venue.
Borgotufi is a hamlet within the village of Castel del Giudice in the Italian region of Molise. Abruzzo is less than a km from us. Borgotufi has been transformed into an “albergo diffuso”, after a complex and refined building renovation. The village has been restored in its historic setting, integrating anti-earthquake structures, with the local rural tradition. Contemporary design blends with period details in the reception, meeting room and public spaces, with widespread usage of recycled local stone. A restaurant and a heated indoor swimming pool are available to guests.
Borgotufi offers modern and design accommodation units. All rooms greet the guests with sobriety and that coziness of a rural home. However, all expected comforts are available: free WI-FI, minibar, a safe and fully equipped kitchenette. Some rooms offer a fireplace. Borgotufi is currently composed of 24 units including: 5 standard queen doubles, 3 triples with attic, 3 triples with separate rooms, 1 quadruple, 3 mini suite, 6 deluxe mini suite and 3 suites.
As to the "Cocktail" and "Gala Dinner", they can be both accommodated in the restaurant spaces. The restaurant can host up to 90 people seating at 8 to 10 round tables. The current maximum capacity is reached for 100 people with square tables. Cocktail events are ideal for about 200 people by arranging aperitifs and both hot and cold buffets on variably sized tables.
