Designed by architect Kenzo Tange and his Tokyo associates, Romeo Hotel is Naples’ most innovative hotel. The most important names from the world of art and contemporary design were all called upon for a contribution, all deeply involved in the experience of hotel design. The end product, the hotel, is a perfect synthesis of design, contemporary art, antiques and Made in Italy luxury. Inaugurated in 2008, it faces the Bay of Naples, just steps away from Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito and the Teatro San Carlo. The facilities include a fine wellness centre, a pool bar, the Beluga Bar & Restaurant and hall for events on the ninth floor with stunning views of the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius and the enchanting island of Capri, Il Comandante gourmet Restaurant (1 Michelin Star) and the Lobby Bar. The meeting and convention centre has four two-equipped meeting halls that can be set up to suit any event for up to 100 guests. The centre, made up of the Lauro and Colombo (along with a relax area and the foyer), is located on the first floor of the hotel and boasts an elegant foyer. There are 82 beautifully-appointed guest rooms, including 10 junior suites and 10 suites, all with incomparable views over the Gulf and the city of Naples. The luxury SPA Dogana del Sale spreads out over 1,000 m2 and distinguishes itself for the exclusivity of the fine materials and the technological equipment it boasts.
