Located at the top of Frascati hills, Grand Hotel Villa Tuscolana overlooks Rome, the eternal city. During the history the Villa belonged to some of the most well-known Roman families such as Aldobrandini, Lancellotti, Sforza, Savoia, Borbone e Bonaparte. In 18th century, the villa was enriched by the painter Luigi Vanvitelli. Nowadays The Villa is a precious hotel with in a wonderful landscape.
Villa Tuscolana also features 100 comfortable rooms. All our rooms are equipped with private bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryers, mini-bar, safebox, telephon, Tv, desk and courtesy line. The guestrooms are furnished to provide a space to relax and a space for working. Bar, open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m, is at our guests’ disposal with hot and cold drinks, fruit, juices and croissants.
Villa Tuscolana is a modern congress centre, five conference rooms with an accommodation from 10 to 300 seats, till to 400 seats using the videoconference. The conference rooms are equipped with air conditioning, technical tools as microphones, flipchart, overhead projector, a rostrum, a reception desk outside the room for copy machine and telefax. Post congress we organize, on request, tour by night of Rome, or trip in the Roman Castles area and sport activities.
“La Rufinella” the hotel restaurant, offers an exquisite cuisine with italian and foreign specialities. The 4 restaurant rooms, with their architectural and pictorial features, become the ideal place for special events but also for working meal or romantic dinner. Moreover, the garden with the old amphitheatre create the space to organize party for over thousand people. VITTORIO EMANUELE ROOM:
(175m²): suits any kind of event (medium-large dimension) and is located at the Conference Floor, with independent entrance and parking and adjacent to a wide foyer available as exhibition area.
CLEMENTE VIII ROOM
(95 m²): is particular because of its octagonal shape and for the frescoed walls; also adjacent to the exhibition foyer is a perfect choice for meeting of medium size.
The Vittorio Emanuele Room and the Clemente VIII Room are served by a large foyer of approximately 160 m², with independent entrance and parking, equipped with a welcome desk and secretary, corner areas with sofas: perfect for the coffee break and drink service (when the weather does not allow to keep them 'open) and is ideal for exhibition routes.
The room (165 m²) has all the modern conference equipment and offers a really charming scenario.
Stately chandeliers uncoil from the high ceiling (11 mt.) lighting the frescos on the walls, the pavement with the symmetric trompe l’oeil and the red draperies. The atmosphere is magnified by a secret garden (directly accessible from the conference room), where an amazing view and the waterworks of a fountain of the 17th century will make the experience unique.
(103 m²) Pride of Villa Tuscolana, Sala Belvedere is located on top of the Villa, at the 6th floor, and offers a spectacular view of Rome; the impressive landscape and the natural brightness make Sala Belvedere the right choice for events “One of a Kind”.
(100 m²)The old Chapel of the Mansion, ovally shaped is a very particular and suggestive room; located in the Villa’s façade is pretty wide and elegant: ideal for meeting of medium size.
SFORZA AND FERRERI ROOMS
2 bright breakout rooms (about 25 sq.mt. each one) in the heart of Villa Tuscolana. Located in the “imposing façade” (by Luigi Vanvitelli), they are naturally lighted and enjoy a relaxing view of the italian gardens of the Villa; ideal for work of small groups.
