The Westin Excelsior Rome was born in January 1906 in one of the city's most imposing palaces and, across the centuries, it became famous as the historical meeting point for the international jet-set and for renowned exponents of national culture, art and high-society.
Strategically situated along the legendary Via Veneto and nestled between the Spanish Steps and the Borghese Gardens & Gallery, the Westin is just few minutes away from Rome's main attractions and it is still considered one of the most prestigious hotels of the capital.
The hotel features 281 elegant rooms and 35 suites, among which the unparalleled Villa La Cupola, hidden below the imposing hotels’ dome; the suite, located over 1100 square meters of the fifth and sixth floors of the hotel and overlooking with its rooftop terrace the fashionable area of Via Veneto and the ancient city, is one of the largest suites in Europe and one of the finest in the world, offering to the ultra-elite a truly ‘Roman Emperor‘s experience.
The Westin Excelsior Rome also offers to its guests Kami Spa Wellness Center, a heaven of luxury and wellness located in the hotel's lower lobby, including swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and professional massage treatments; and 11 meeting rooms included the magnificent Winter Garden, considered one of the biggest meeting spaces in the heart of Rome.
