Profile

Torre Coccaro is a "masseria" dating back to the 16th century. It is a historic hotel set in a large estate overlooking the Mediterranean sea, close to the fisherman village of Savelletri.
Once a stronghold against the Turks immersed in olive groves, it provides a true atmosphere of an Apulian Masseria.
Torre Coccaro has now become a five star resort whose aim is to take guests back to a traditional life close to nature so they can benefit in full from the simple pleasures of rural life.

The courtyard features a chapel from 1730 and a vegetable garden along an ancient pergola overlooking the ingenious irrigation system.

Rooms
the rooms have vaulted ceilings and a little garden, linen sheets, down pillows. There are junior suites in the antique tower and a large suite with private pool set in an atmospheric cave.

Cuisine
Hotel restaurant Egnathia is set under the star-shaped vaults of the old stables and serves organic Apulian cuisine. The beach-club restaurant specialises in sushi and fish recipes. All the dishes are made with products of the organic farm of the Masseria.

Activities
The atmospheric SPA with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath
and Gym is located in a beautiful natural cave, with availability for a range of olive oil treatments,
yoga and taichi lessons.
Cooking school. Free mountain bikes for rides to the beach,
in the countryside or gourmet bicycle tours.
Sailing boat excursions and wine tasting.
Coccaro golf course: 9 holes on site with driving range a very challenging course full of olive trees and great views of the Mediterranean sea.
The hotel also features a private sandy beach, a quiet and refined place to lap up the sun on beach mattresses, with fish restaurant - sushi and oyster bar.

In the Masseria you can organize business meetings up to 150 people
In ancient barns in front of a fireplace, or in an ancient “Oil Mill” where olives were once pressed. All the rooms are in old style but supported by all the most advanced technologies.
