Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi*****
Opened in 1836, today it is a valuable example of the liberty stile of architecture. Its 74 bright and spacious rooms are finely furnished; almost all of the bathrooms are equipped with jacuzzi bath with thermal water and chromo therapy system. The Spa centre of the Hotel is easily accessible of the room.
The halls of the hotel were richly decorated with stuccos and frescos following the Art Nouveau style and the front of the hotel was festooned with decoration in Liberty style.
The luxurious Ballroom, illuminated by the large windows which look out over the gardens and the valley or by the Boemian glass chandeliers and is heated an elaborately decorated fireplace. These rooms once hosted banquets of the elite which at that time loved to come to Bormio and its spas, the rooms were also once alive with music coming from the galleries. Today it is also used as a Dinning room that can accommodate banquets for 200 people.
Some of these halls have been equipped for meeting and conventions.
In addition to the Grand Ballroom and the Sala degli Affreschi, that can receive a prestigious occasion with a great number of people in an elegantly decorated with frescos set, there are also some smaller rooms equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities.

The Hotel Bagni Vecchi in Bormio is a little and charming jewel in the hearth of the Alps. It provides 36 rooms, of which 2 are Suites furnished with original pieces of artistic antiques from Valtellina and with a wonderful view on Bormio and the Stelvio ski slope.
The Spa & Wellness centre, adjacent to the Hotel Bagni Vecchi, is subdivided into 6 sections offering 30 different thermal facilities and services for a complete remise en forme.
A dive into more than two thousand years of history, from the Roman baths to the centuries-old grottos which lead from the hot water spring to the panoramic open air pool, overlooking the valley of Bormio. Six sectors with different spa treatment: relaxing, purifying, regenerating and toning, in an exciting context, unique in the world. The Roman baths which have been famous from the first century B.C., the Medieval baths, the Imperial baths and the Saint Martin Grotto that leads to one of the springs right in the heart of the mountain, offer incomparable timeless emotions.
