The Venetian Visconti fortress is a thousand-year-old fortification overlooking the lower Lake Garda. Owned by the Ugo Da Como Foundation, it has been a National Monument since 1912. From its crenellated walls you can admire the panorama of the entire basin of Lake Garda. The imposing structure is softened by large green spaces and centuries-old olive trees. The main quarter houses a modern event pavilion, fully glazed and equipped with all services. The hall has a height of 3.5 meters for a single surface of 345 square meters and can house up to 290 people. Its shape makes it particularly suitable for hosting corporate events, gala dinners, exhibitions, conferences, projections, business lunches, concerts but also receptions and ceremonies. To best accommodate all types of events, the large multifunctional space is remodulated with the help of personalized fittings and the integration of specific techniques. If necessary a team of professionals can assist direct customers, as agencies as well. The restaurant is managed - exclusively and with internal kitchens - by Padovani Benuzzi catering. Inside the monumental complex there is also the House-Museum Library “del Podestà”; the furnished rooms, the historical library and the private gardens can host private and personalized guided tours, small events, aperitifs, concerts, readings and exclusive convivial moments.
In the Captain's House of the Fortress there is also the Ornithological Museum "Gustavo Adolfo Carlotto" which is open to guests of the events and can also be visited with a specialized guide (paid service).
Next to the Carpani Room, an immersive room dedicated to the local beauties of the area will be set up within 2020; this service can be offered to event guests too
The shape of the Event Pavilion makes the space suitable for hosting conferences, projections, exhibitions, expositions. To best grant these needs, the large multi-purpose hall in some cases must be rethought with the help of specially designed fittings and the integration of techniques specifications (lights, video projectors, audio systems, etc.). For all these needs for the design of temporary installations, the Ugo Da Como Foundation has developed a collaboration with the architects and scenographers of the TOP TAG studio, the same studio that took care of the design of the Pavilion itself. TOP TAG professionals will be able to guarantee personalized projects and a direct relationship with the customer who needs the service.
Also as regards the details and the personalization of the floral arrangements, the Ugo Da Como Foundation has activated a special agreement with the floral design studio Nibel atelier, a team of professionals always up-to-date with the latest trends.
Hospitality is guaranteed - with special conditions - in a series of accommodation facilities [bed & breakfast, residences, hotels and farmhouses] in the area with which the Ugo Da Como Foundation has made specific agreements.
The Events Office is also able to provide contact informations of established professionals in the audio / lighting service, music, photography and video maker sector.
For companies wishing to organize thematic team building in the castle and in its green spaces, the Ugo Da Como Foundation has activated with UMA - A world of adventures - a series of formats whose learning model is based on experience. Participants are the protagonists in the first person, often with themed clothes and innovative models that inspire total adhesion.
Finally, it is possible to organize a suggestive visit inside the House Museum Library “del Podestà”, one of the best preserved museum houses in Italy, an important testimony of the high-bourgeois taste for the home. The guided tour (since 2020 also with augmented reality) allows you to go through the twenty fully furnished rooms and the extraordinary Library with over 50,000 ancient and rare volumes, dating back to the twelfth century. Among the curiosities also the "smallest book in the world".
