Cinecittà Studios has been at the heart of Italy’s cinema production and a globally well-known reference point since 1937. In the millennium that followed, the soundstages of Cinecittà continued to provide the setting for blockbuster American productions like Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York, Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ and more recently, Catch 22 by George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Ellen Kuras and 6 Underground by Michael Bay. With a surface area of over 400,000 sqm, its soundstages and outdoor sets, Cinecittà is also the perfect place to create unique, evocative events, thanks to the wide variety of settings it offers and the presence of industry professionals. Cinecittà also provides additional services at the highest level, including: catering, set construction and technical services for audio, video and lighting. Projects are created and designed to meet the needs of every company. The soundstages can host up to 2,000 people, with dimensions ranging from 400 sqm to 1,500 sqm and reaching 3,000 sqm approx. in Teatro 5, Maestro Fellini’s temple, still the largest soundstage in Europe today. They can be used to host conferences, gala dinners and customised events. The added value to celebrating an event at Cinecittà is most definitely the option of including a guided tour of the Dream Factory, a unique opportunity to find out more about the Seventh Art.
